📄 TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ENGLISH COURSE ENROLLMENT AT NOVACADÈMIA SCHOOL

1. Enrollment and registration

Enrollment will be considered completed once:

The enrollment form has been correctly completed and submitted by the student.
The corresponding registration fee has been paid (for new students).
These terms and conditions have been expressly accepted.
2. Payments and fee policy

Course fees may be paid monthly or termly, depending on the option selected at the time of enrollment, except for the September fee, which is always paid monthly for all students.

All payments must be made within the established deadline. Payments not made on time may result in management fees or late payment charges.

Repeated failure to pay fees may result in the temporary or permanent suspension of the student from the course, after prior notification.

Student absences do not entitle the student to discounts or refunds.

No refunds will be made for withdrawals occurring in the middle of a month or term, regardless of the reason for withdrawal.

3. Cancellation of private lessons

Private lessons, whether individual or duo, must be cancelled at least 4 working hours before the scheduled start time in order not to be counted as completed lessons. If cancelled after this deadline, the first hour of the lesson will be charged as completed.

4. Behaviour and coexistence

Uncivil, disrespectful, or disruptive behaviour, either inside or outside the classroom, that affects the proper running of classes or coexistence with other students and teachers will not be tolerated.

In cases of repeated or serious misconduct, NOVACADÈMIA reserves the right to remove the student from the course, after notifying the family or legal guardian, without entitlement to a refund of any fees paid.

5. Personal data protection (LOPDGDD and GDPR)

In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament (GDPR) and Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD), we inform you that the personal data provided will be included in a file owned by Novacadèmia, for the purpose of managing educational activities and maintaining communication with families.

Individuals may exercise their rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing, and data portability by submitting a written request to:

6. Image rights

By enrolling in the course, the student (or their legal representative in the case of minors) expressly authorises NOVACADÈMIA to capture, use, and publish images and/or videos in which they may appear during educational activities, for informational, educational, or promotional purposes, without any commercial intent.

This authorisation remains valid unless expressly revoked in writing before the start of the course or during the course by sending an email to info@novacademia.com.

7. Cancellation of enrollment

Voluntary withdrawal from a course must be communicated before the 20th day of the previous month, either by email or in person at the school office.

Otherwise, the fee for the following period may be charged.

No partial refunds will be made if withdrawal occurs in the middle of a month or term.

8. Changes and responsibility

NOVACADÈMIA SCHOOL reserves the right to modify the schedule, teaching staff, or course conditions for organisational or educational reasons, while always ensuring the quality of the service.

The school is not responsible for personal belongings lost or damaged during educational activities.
